Santa María Golf Club is an exquisite 18-hole golf course located in Marbella, known as one of the best on the Costa del Sol. With a course length of 5,325 meters, it is surrounded by beautiful pine forests and oak trees, offering a challenging and harmonious golfing experience with nature.

This golf course is set in a setting of unparalleled natural beauty in the mountains of Andalusia. It traverses two valleys, providing stunning views of the Mediterranean, in one of the most wooded areas of the municipality. The course winds through the valley and ascends the mountain before crossing the highway heading north.

Architectural Inspiration and Natural Challenges

The first nine holes were designed by Antonio García Garrido. Hole 7, a 200-yard par 3, is reached from elevated tees. The next hole, a par 5, features a dogleg to the right with water on the right side. Hole 14 also starts from a very elevated tee, skirts a lake, and ends on a green with a waterfall to the right.

The course is surrounded by numerous apartment buildings, but this does not detract from the beauty of the landscape. Additionally, it features two practice areas, three putting greens, and five short holes.

The average round time is estimated at 4 hours and 30 minutes under standard conditions.
