La Zagaleta’s Old Course was designed in 1991 by Bradford Benz and redesigned in 2016 by Marc Westenborg. New Course

La Zagaleta’s New Course, designed by Steve Marnoch, opened its doors in 2005 and offers an exciting challenge for players. This par-70, 18-hole course features top-notch facilities and takes the playing experience to an unprecedented level.

La Zagaleta golf courses are located in a privileged enclave of the Mediterranean forest, providing views of the Mediterranean Sea, Africa, and Gibraltar. On the other hand, the Clubhouse of the New Course is smaller and recently built but boasts a large terrace and breathtaking views of the golf course and the lake. Equestrian Area

La Zagaleta Country Club offers a wide range of sports facilities for its members. Horse lovers can enjoy the equestrian area, which features Arabian and Spanish purebred horses, Welsh ponies, and Farabella horses for young riders. There are 23 stables and four riding arenas available for riding, including two for training, one for “classical dressage,” and one for “leisure.” Horses are exercised on a lead rope twice a week and have one day off in the arena once a week. In addition, members can use their own horses or those of the club. There are also facilities such as offices, changing rooms, storage rooms, and two lounges with fireplaces.

Cycling and Hiking

For nature enthusiasts, La Zagaleta Country Club has three sections for hiking and mountain biking, with spectacular views and the opportunity to explore the property’s flora and fauna.

Tennis and Paddle Tennis

Members can also enjoy the tennis and paddle tennis facilities, including two tennis courts, one with clay and one with a hard surface, and one paddle tennis court, all surrounded by stunning nature.
